selection added, from the upstream Background. I can only imagine it was
changed to User Interface with the idea that the Unity configuration
pieces would be added to it (and which are now). I think these probably

it used to be. I was definitely confused for a second when I went to
change the background (because there was a problem with it loading), and

The origial report is not a duplicate. However, Giovanni's issue does
appear to be. The original issue for me did not discriminate against
symlinks or not. It reorganized all files on my desktop. (I use Desktop
== $HOME)

There is nothing substantial in either report to suggest that it is in
fact ubuntuone causing the issue. The duplicate report has no traceback
at all, and the one here is incomplete. :-/

This appears to be more failure from the conversion to gtkbuilder to
replace libglade. Also of note is that clicking help in the New PGP
Key dialog, results in 2 help browsers being launched.

Interesting... I don't think my bug is a duplicate. My panel's
background option is set to None already.

I'm unable to obtain a backtrace with gdb or valgrind, as when I run the
rhythmbox-metadata helper externally, it exits and the socket
disappears, rendering the value passed in to rhythmbox invalid, and
leaves one of the import failures with the message that it couldn't open
the tmp file (socket),
