I have not tried in LXDE yet but I am about to try.

Fresh install, updated, non ATi drivers (default radeon xorg) and

i've been experiencing the same issues this a week or two.
I'm using Ub 10.04 since May 2010.
Evolution 2.28.3
3 imap accounts, and 2 pop.
Disabling default sources didn't solved the problem.
I though about the large amount of emails i had, so did some clean up.
Unsuccessful.

I've just started using evolution and found that setting an sound alarm
does not work (it just does nothing when it is meant to go off). It
does not matter if I use a custom sound or not. Using notifications
with the alarm works fine.
