Same here; Gutsy beta, 2.6.22-13-generic kernel, NVidia MCP51 audio. Also heard in flash video. Crossfading workaround fixes rhythmbox, but there's no equivalent fix for flash. -- Rhythmbox sound problems (clicking/snapping/crackling) when not using crossfading backend
