I haven't been using Evolution, since I began using Google's Calendar.
I tried the problem again after receiving notice of the importance
change. I'm running Lucid 10.04 up-to-date.The double-click on the
date in the panel's drop-down calendar opens Evolution (2.28.3) with the
correct date.
I've been too busy to install new alphas, but when beta is released,
I'll install Hardy beta and try it again.

[Hardy 8.04 Alpha-2 for i386 desktop] Same faulty behaviour occurs in
this iso-testing version. Relevant versions: evolution 2.21.4, Gnome

drop-down calendar (from the panel clock) opens the prior date (at 9:00

[Hardy 8.04 alpha-2] Totem player will not seek to a later place in

After the above testing was done, I closed Totem. I clicked on the
DVD-VR icon on desktop. Instead of re-loading Totem and playing the
video as it did when the DVD-VR disk was first inserted, the contents of
the disk were displayed as files in folders. Right click on the DVD-VR
icon brought
I should add that when I first used Totem for the DVD-VR playback, it
located and installed the correct plug-in to render my DVD-VR disk.
That was very nice.

Binary package hint: totem-xine
I installed totem-xine the normal way using Synaptic. Two problems:
1. It does not install a menu item in the ApplicationsSoundVideo menu.
2. When I launched totem-xine from a terminal, it would not run. It exited
with exit code 127
I concur with Greg about Evolution's poor page layout problem. When I
print an email message, the printing starts at top edge of paper and
continues to bottom edge. There are no top and bottom margins. This is
not merely a problem of setting the margins -- Evolution's page setup
dialog doesn't
One more idea: Since Evolution has is origin in Novell, I wonder
whether Evolution on OpenSUSE does any better with print formatting.
Anyone have OpenSUSE available to check it out? Maybe that will give a
clue about where the margin settings are actually kept.
