This is not a compiz issue, the reporter wants other applications to use
the same shadow style as compiz in their fake shadows (the shadow on
pages in evince, etc).

This works perfectly here with compiz and the nvidia driver. Can you
describe what happens in more detail? Does the note get stacked under
other windows? Does it get put on another viewport?

This only happens with menus in gtk applications and only when using
multiscreen with nvidia and compiz. Not sure where to put it so I'm
assigning this to gtk since it only happens to apps that use it. Does
this also happen if you use xcompmgr with metacity?

This doesn't seem to be related to compiz but I'm not sure what to
