Binary package hint: empathy
When a long message is sent or received I end up with a large white area at the
bottom of the chat window. See screenshots.

I'm using a gstreamer pipeline of
audio/x-raw-int,rate=44100,channels=2 ! lamemp3enc name=enc quality=0
encoding-engine-quality=2 ! id3v2mux
which appears to behave correctly (gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse
version 0.10.12-0ubuntu1 on karmic).
