Public bug reported:
I am unable to close a PDF file.
My machine is also running very sluggish. Sometimes the windows freeze
and I am unable to get a cursor. Do any of these issues have anything
to do with Firefox?

I opened a file and now I am unable to close it. I have clicked on the

close it to no avail. I can minimize the opened file and I can move it
around the screen, it just won't close.

I am also having problems with delayed typing, pages not scrolling right
away, and just today while in a chat with my school's bursar department,
my chat box froze and I was not able to type a response. Also, when I
switch to another screen and try to open a new window in that screen, it

Thank you for your response.
I think it is using Unity. It happens on Ubuntu 11.10. I installed
updates today and it has not happened yet. The next time it does I will
take a snapshot of it.
Thank you.

OK, I just got the orange film across half of my screen and I was able
to take a screen shot. I will attach the shot.
** Attachment added: Screenshot of orange film covering half of my screen.
Public bug reported:
An orange film covers either the left or the right side of my screen and
just now it covered the screen completely. Sometimes it appears just by
moving my mouse. It's that orange film you see when you move a
minimized document close to the top of the screen to be maximized.

Hi,
Thank you for responding. What you just posted is greek to me. lol
I have been using Ubuntu Linux for about a year now and I absolutely love
it. I have no idea about all the techy terms. I still have a lot to learn.
One day I will get the nerve to experiment.
