I experience this as well with evolution over xrdp. Any chance this will
be looked at?

I have the same basic symptoms. When running from terminal I get the
following error:
(gnometris:2842): ClutterGLX-CRITICAL **: Unable to make the stage window
0x4c00027 the current GLX drawable
Segmentation fault

Gnometris begins launch but fails before the window appears.
Obviously that's a device limitation (assuming one of the devices is a
hard disk), but sequential copying or timesharing with very large time
slots (each file get a few seconds at a time for copying its contents)
would avoid the problem never the less.

Enabled to Compix cube and the rotate cube plugin.
Whenever I try to rotate the cube, X crashes and I immediately return to the

Yes. Once I changed the audio settings as described above it seemed to
have solved the problem.
Like I said though, I wonder what changed it to NOT working in the first
place, since I clearly remember not too long after installing ubuntu it
worked for me, then it stopped for some bizarre reason,
I've had a similar problem, and it turned out somehow the sound settings
weren't correct. I can't remember exactly how they were set
unfortunately, but I went to System-Preferences-Sound and changed
everything to ALSA. Seemed to have done the trick in rhythmbox. The
