When i try Open this file:

Evince try open but computer is freezing, disk working all time. Only on this
file.
My system is Ubuntu 7.04, computer: 1Ghz Amd, 512 SD-RAM.

When I try resizing more than 10 images (1 MB per images from Canon A85) gThumb
use a all my RAM memory (256MB) and sometimes my system is dead..
When i resizing a 5 photos then gThumb use a 100MB... It's too much...
Ubuntu Egdy with Xfce, latest version of gThumb.

On edgy with gThumb 2.7.9 is the same problem
