On Ubuntu 10.10, installing cdrdao does NOT fix the issue. Instead of a
crash, I'm now getting a popup:
All required applications and libraries are not installed.
Please install the following manually and try again:
cdrdao (application).

I'm experiencing the same issue as fabiaN. It is also impossible to
reverse the direction of task switching after pressing Alt-Tab (and
still holding Alt depressed) by depressing Shift and hitting Tab (thus,
the same Alt-Shift-Tab combination).

I can still reproduce the issue with all latest updates applied (as of
April 12, 10:30 UTC+4). When the desktop is dimmed, the keyboard
indicator does not reflect current layout (e.g. it is Rus when
Synaptic is started but I need to change it to USA to enter the proper
password.) However,
