When I tried to install the plugin in post #5,
the installer popped up a message saying the
program will damage my system.
allthough i doubt it would happen, I stopped the installation
anyway.

Yep, same here.. I also confirm the same symptoms, Glad i found this
bug... hope it gets a higher priority, as one said... it is the
preferred mic testing program...
