In Ubuntu 12.0464-bit (Unity 3D), Empathy 3.4.1, I can receive messages but I
can't send any.
Sent messages do not appear in facebook, too.

with the introduction of the new gvfs backend in 2.22, gnome burn
utility has lost the ability to create files (a text file, as a example)
in the burn:/// meta-directory.
steps to reproduce the bug:
1. open burn:/// in nautilus
2. right click = create document = empty file
no workaround yet. just use a lighter theme (without round borders,
etc.) and a faster processor. and wait for accelerated gtk :)

i have a trends usb sound card and i have the same problem. however, setting
the volume trough $ alsamixer -c 1 works perfectly.
at the moment i'm using that instead of gnome-mixer applet.
where can i find some instructions of how to test the patch and compile
the new package?

i am using an up-to-date dapper flight 6 and i have serious speed problems with
gnome/gtk+ apps. Moving windows around the desktop is really sluggish, resizing
windows too. Menus take some time before they appear.

hi, just an update to say that the problem still lives with feisty (as
it did with edgy).
i know, it's not an ubuntu's fault, but a gtk's one... maybe in the
future we'll have accelerated gtk, but at the present slower computers
suffer. newer processors behave better, i experienced good
