It might be related to the IEC audio portions, as muting them seems to
fix the issue (need to restart computer after applying as such. But
might still have the problem.)
It might also be a gstreamer problem as Kubuntu--which uses the XINE
backend--did not have the glitchy sound by default.
I can no longer test however, as I am on windows now. Might test in the
future if problem still exists, but only if I can also test other bugs
that I've been having as of late. If I can't test those as well, then
it's of no benefit of me to just test one thing.

Glitchy Sound on HDA Intel
I used Ubuntu 10.04 near when it came out on my ASUS Laptop with Radeon
Mobility HD 5870, and disabling compiz did NOT help for firefox, nothing
could be clicked, etc. Didn't try to put on GDK Native Window hack, so
yeah... might have fixed my issue.

totem is GNOME, Parole is xulrunner based on gstreamer, it would be wise
to change it.
However, I don't really feel that I care anyway to be honest, I use an
xfce minimal install using the ubuntu mini.iso.
