Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
1.) $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS Release: 10.04 2.) $ apt-cache policy rhythmbox Installed: 0.12.8-0ubuntu7 Candidate: 0.12.8-0ubuntu7 Version table: *** 0.12.8-0ubuntu7 0 500 http://fi.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 0.12.8-0ubuntu3 0 500 http://fi.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages 3.) I moved (renamed) subdirectory in ~/Music directory that contained music files. I expected that Rhythmbox would add tracks from new location and remove old tracks from library. $ rhythmbox & $ cd ~/Music $ mv some_directory_with_tracks to_some_other_name 4.) Instead Rhythmbox just added tracks from new location, but left tracks from old location untouched. So my library contained invalid (duplicate) tracks and I needed to restart Rhythmbox to get rid of invalid track entries. ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Rhythmbox library not updated correctly after renaming directories https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/626319 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
