No longer get the error. Have no idea what happened to change the issue
other than the updates that got pulled down and rebooted this morning.
My machine sees all the other machine shares, and no longer ask me for a
password. But I can't see my own machine as a sharing machine in the
workgroup.
Yeah well, it still does not see itself in the workgroup. I was able to
see it form a another Karmic machine, but after restarting the server,
the Karmic server sees no machines. You have to laugh at the state of
samba in Ubuntu at this point. Not once have I had a consistent
experience with

Same thing with my situation. Totem goes ape, causing a reboot to
release the computer from this process. This is not good.

Sure.
Fire up Totem, then open the side pane, refresh the Mythtv entries,
double click one, and watch it fail, with error 311 , no data in stream.

Root nautilus trash selection freezes nautilus and eats memory until
nautilus killed.
This manner of closing bug reports is trifling. There is no crash
report generated in all instances. In my case Nautilus never crashes,
just hangs and eats RAM. So in this case, what report is to be
submitted?
There is no point to output as Brasero shows empty dsic as zero free
space. Gnomebaker is burning these disk perfectly.

I compiled ffmpeg myself. What I noticed is two things.
1. The mythexport is calling for aac support when ffmpeg does not
recognize that as a proper codec. FFMPEG is looking for libfaac.

In all seriousness Nautilus crashes so often, and apparently often with
no reason, other than it being used, I'm not sure what I was doing a
week ago. I've have noticed less instability, but then Nautilus has been

I could not import from a folder with in thr folder name. I saw this
report and changed the to a -, and was able to import the folder.
Not only would it not import, but would not even play from the folder.

changed. When you close and reopen Nautilus window, the columns revert
to their original widths. Happens every time.
