I believe I've narrowed the cause of the crash down to the File Transfer Window activating (Alt +F), manually or automatic, initiates the crash of the entire application on a consistent basis. Compiz has no effect as it crashes with Metacity Window Manager as well. -- Segfault incoming DCC
