Unfortunately the langedalepl ppa does not work for me on Xubuntu 12.10
(I did reboot). Phone is a Motorola XT890 running ICS. I've tried
multiple USB ports, unlocking the phone's screen and switching between
MTP and PTP. Further things to try would be welcome.

that's literally just been enabled in libgtk-3.
Seems to be high if it's going to stop a lot of gtk apps building, but I guess
it's just a missing build-dep.

settings. Totem 3.6.x doesn't even have the Audio output setting. It
simply uses the default gstreamer sink, which has to be changed through
the command line or with dconf-editor (I made a post about that on

10.04 probably needs a much newer kernel to get Realtek ALC892 working,

correctly there except Totem crashing. Please start totem from the
terminal, crash it,
Nevermind the Xorg log. I can see that you have fglrx installed from
your dmesg. You need to purge fglrx package to get correct resolution.

If I disable/re-enable the account it starts working again.

Everything was fine except for account-plugin-sip that seemed to drop my
password from it's settings.

Confirmed on 3.5.5-0ubuntu1 evince on Quantal Alpha.
That is quite bizarre; first time through for me it didn't happen, but looped
between 7 and 8 on the way back upwards,
but then I went back down and it looped between 6 and 7.

Changing to ecryptfs-utils.
This doesn't sound like a bug in gnome-terminal; normally something like that
is a case of the ecryptfs mount program
turning off 'echoing' before asking for the password; it sounds like it didn't
trap the ctrl-c and turn it back on before exiting.

Hi PioneerAxon - did you mean to set that to fix committed on gcalctool
(Ubuntu)? I don't
think it should be set as such unless that version of the package is in the
ubuntu repos

I can also confirm that I am seeing this in Ubuntu 12.04 with Gnome
Image Viewer 3.4.2. A few years ago this worked and now it doesn't!
Anyone have a workaround?

committed once someone can confirm the upstream code has made it into
