I have not noticed this problem since upgrading to Hardy - it may be
fixed.
Since the problem would not happen every time, it is very difficult to
reproduce.

That's interesting. It could be something different, or a host of
things. Even though I deleted spam assassin and Razor, I did have the
problem repeat itself recently, so I agree that may not be the root
cause. However since removing those pagckages, the frequencey of this
problem decreased
This bug has something to do with Spam Assassin. But simply
deactivating SpamAssassin had no effect.
However, when I uninstalled the spam assassin packages and the Razor
Package, the problem stopped happening. I only figured this out through
a bunch of trail and error. I think if you uninstall
