I don't know how to do a backtrace because apport don't generate it.
I try with debug option: evolution --debug=debug.log
Output is:

I have same problem. I'm a spanish user too.
I did a backtrace. The error produced when I filter contacts by category, but I
have when trying to search a contact via the any contact contains option.
