its frustating to wait so much time, but its allrighr, i know there are
plenty of bug out here altready and few man to handle them. I wanted to
say this last time I did a clean install o ubuntu and problem persisted.
I went to nautiluspreferences and set the option to view archives
thumbnais to
About last comment, maybe its because I havent used more than 3 svgs in
one folder on 9.04...I think i have said enough, now its up to you

I have been reading, and nautilus had problems with svgs in past. It´s
just happening like before...but why svg´s worked fine on 9.04? maybe
nautilus previous version worked and now we have a regression?
This is slowing down my artworks production time...

Well, i hope you fix that soon, I´m a graphical design student, and I
use a lot of SVG´s sometimes, it is really annoying to separate svgs in
groups of 3 in various folders when only one could do it...

Just to experiment I created another folder and filled it with svgs to
see until which point nautilus could handle. Here after 3 svgs nautilus
says it is processing something, but it is pratically frozen for a lot
of minutes. It is it, nautilus is processing the svgs, but very slowly,
the program
Nautilus does not really crash, but it freezes, maybe gdb only detects
crashs, but freezed programs arent recognized as bug? I think nautilus
is working, processing the svgs thumbs, but at turtle speed, which isnt
good and need to be fixed if other people have the same problem.

I could remove the confidential stuff from the folder and post it here to all,
but as I said I cannot acess my folder anymore. So I think the only option
actually is to send it to Sebastien Bacher

It took me some time to understand the process, but i installed
nautilus-dbg and did the tutorial about backtrace. Results are in
attachment

The svgs stuff is happening with me too. But in my case I have only 8
svgs and nautilus crashs locking the file browser, and sometimes the
whole desktop, its always in the same folder i have here
(Documentsjarbas_works). Its the only folder with more than 2 svgs, so
i presume the svgs are somewhat
Ops, just saw this bug is old, damn bug report existing bugs sugestion.

Binary package hint: nautilus
Nautilus just keeps freezing itself and sometimes the entire desktop
everytime i enter the unique folder in my computer with svgs. When the
folder had 3 svgs nautilus could still read the folder, but now with
only 8 or 10 of them it just freeze
