has there been a resolution to this problem ? it is happening to me and
the frequency is increasing and it now happening every 3-4 minutes and
it is becoming impossible to use ubuntu. any help would be appreciated.
i hate to move away from ubuntu. many thanks

I confirm this bug with evince 3.4.0 on Ubuntu 12.04.3.
On my system, if one of the following paper sizes was selected PRIOR TO
opening the Print dialogue, then the Two-sided: drop-down list control
is populated with only a One Sided option:
Letter Small Margins 8.5x11in
A4 Small Margins

Gnome terminal should interpret ESC E as NEL (0x85) (see the
description of C1 (8-Bit) Control Characters here:

As I understand it, NEL should be treated pretty much like LF (0x0A).
In gnome terminal, if I run echo -n -e
I see this in Ubuntu 10.10.
