After upgrading to 10.04 connect to server stopped working for me for
ftp (with login). Same problem here with different mount type. When i
try to mount some ftp bookmark gvfsd-ftp is taking a lot of resources.
If i kill the gvfsd-ftp then i can mount ftp bookmarks without any
problems.

Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon
After todays update gnome-settings-daemon stop working. I can't start it
manually eighter.
I use ubuntu 8.10 beta.
I attached gnome-settings-daemon --no-daemon output ( --debug gives no
output ) and the list of packages updated

Now i noticed, i cant start pidgin.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ pidgin
ERROR: Caught a segmentation fault while loading plugin file:
/usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstlibvisual.so
Please either:
- remove it and restart.
- run with --gst-disable-segtrap and debug.

i moved the libgstlibvisual.so file to another location, and now
everything works fine. But i am not sure what this file is for so i am
still waiting someone to explain :)
