Nautilus crashes when mounting
Just when the nautilus proccess is killed gnome re spawn it, i think i
found some time ago a option to prevent this to happen, but is practical
to leave it on and now i can0t remember where it was. Metacity and
gnome-panel was in the same option set to prevent re spawning.

Confirmed that the problematic is winbind. Doing a simple #sudo
/etc/init.d/winbind stop and voila shares started to work again, if
winbind is started shares stop working. This bug is very important, a
lot of people use samba. Don't know who was the developer that commited

I have done the reinstallation of all nautilus packages and as i
expected it didn't work. i insist that the problem is in the samba

This is also happening to me just after the security upgrade of winbind

I use ubuntu hardy and also debian lenny, i can confirm this bug. In
lenny this is solved time ago, the update from gstreamer 0.18 to 0.19
solved this in my lenny. In intrepid there is the 0.19, it could be
added to hardy-backports or to hardy-updates because there aren't any
substantial changes.
