I would just like to confirm, gnome power manager was using over 400 mb
of ram after over 12 hours of computer not being used.

Why would they switch to something like empathy if it has such a huge
bug? Port lockdowns are commonplace in public WiFi installations,
Proxies are the only resort in that instance. It baffles me that this
is this way!

Does
just confirming this case, went to sync with google contacts and I got
the error, ubuntu 8.10 and I went to the keyring and double checked I am
100% certain I have the correct credentials. I tried with and without
ssl.
