I have just got a similar crash on i386.
Since this problem already reported here an apport doesn't attach my crash
report to this thread...
Please help me to locate collected report files that are needed to be attached.

- Is this a normal install or have you installed seperate gnome packages?
- Is your gnome session working correctly?
- Do you execute this on a server via ssh where there are no

Gary, Have you installed a theme with that name? If not it wont work.
The problem with this bug are the lines
[daemon]
GtkModulesList=gail:atk-bridge:/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/libkeymouselistener:/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/libdwellmouselistener
AddGtkModules=true
in /etc/gdm/gdm.conf-custom

Confirmed for Ubuntu Feisty, commenting those lines runs GDM fine
