hi, i wasnt sure if i was affected too but i followed OP's
reproductions steps eg. i erased the database and now it never crashes
(RB was crashing *many* times a day). so i confirm this bug and thank OP

i'm using RB 0.12.5 and Karmic with 2.6.31-10-generic kernel

by default (hardy, intrepid, jaunty) transmission and rhythmbox docks without
configuration
since activated, transmission docks in karmic (what was not necessary in
previous releases), RB does not

that was automatic in previous versions
