There is a way of altering the behaviour.
Open gconf-editor and change the value of
/apps/gnome-power-manager/action_button_power from 'interactive' to 'shutdown'.
This doesn't change my position, the default behaviour is wrong.

I can't say exactly when it happened, but the pointing-finger cursor now
matches that of Breezy. Not being a maintainer I'm loath to mark this

Human is the theme I'm using. I assumed that since it was the default
theme it would be in this package.
My issue is that the default pointing-finger cursor has changed from
5.10 to Dapper and the new one is much uglier.
