i dont know if this option exist but is only triggered by certain
events, but for books that are right to left the dual mode assumes that
they are left-to-right with no option to change this

I've had no problem with encoding, only problem i had was that notepad,
unlike every other editor does not recognize unix newlines and will just
display as one big line. its one of the reasons windows sucks. maybe
there should be a option for how to do newlines but a warning should be

p12 is quite a common format, and my keys are in it. all key files is
grossly inaccurate and generally (except when the number is huge like
gimp and all the oteher options are there) there should never be option
only on a file selector.
Also seahorse should support p12

this was a one part of me half moving back to windows for my primary
desktop. In windows the issues are so bad and widespread that its easy
to google how to turn them off while in ubuntu they are only now
creeping in, and therefore people have not gotten around them yet. its
like how Firefox broke
this is a bug. I have a fully up to date hardy distro and in
reinstalling hibernate suport to try to fix it I ended up in an endless
loo of dependancies and can not boot gnome. I am looking at this in lynx
and will probably have to reinstall cause you cant fix this simple
thing.
