I too have a problem with the Totem movie player, being new to Ubuntu, I find it difficult to negotiate my way around yet and would appreciate any help. Trying to install another movie player I get the following error message : E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem. Where is E: and how do I get to masnually run dpkg whatever that is? Thanks to all that might be able to help a newbee that otherwise loves Linux, Rolf
