After selecting 9.10 in GRUB it gets as far as a black screen with a
white ubuntu symbol on it - then it shows entering power save mode.

This seems to be caused by the fact that in Jaunty we asked GNOME Power
to suspend for us but now we're using DeviceKit-power (which is good)
but it's not handling the desktop side of things for us. So it seems we

IIRC, the code does notice renamed folders, assuming you do it within
nautilus.
If done with some other program (or CLI), it can't be detected, as

Since installing Jaunty, both Pidgin and Evolution have been hanging
periodically. With Pidgin, these hangs can only be stopped with a kill
-9, while Evolution responds to
Backtrace obtained from attaching to hung pidgin process with GDB.
Killing evolution-data-server-2.26 caused an immediate revival pidgin.

Alright, even with the Pidgin Integration plugin in Evolution disabled,
Pidgin still crashed, and a checkin with Evolution confirmed it was
crashed as well. I'm attaching simple backtraces from Pidgin, Evo, and
e-d-s.
As usual, after killing e-d-s, both Pidgin and Evolution started back
up, with

Sound Juicer crashes without any diagnostics when trying to extract
unnamed tracks from CD. I'd suspect this is the same bug as the ones
where it crashes with non-text characters int he track names.

I'm running jaunty on an original macbook (core duo, not core 2 duo).
The macbook keyboard has the alt and win keys reversed, because on the
mac they aren't alt and win keys - they're command and option keys. So

Yes, they were to deal with laptops that have a ton of levels, so you
want to smoothly go through the levels. So if you have a 1000 levels
switching from 10% to 20% shouldn't be a large jump
I'm not sure why this didn't get updated. But the merge happened and
everything. Perhaps because it was under evolution and not
evolution-indicator
