Keyboard layo
Josh's workaround through dconf will work for me, but once I restart my
computer the calibration will return to being completely off. I have a
Lenovo X230 tablet. This means that everytime I want to use the stylus I
have to manually reset via the terminal.

I'm not sure if this is the same but but I now have 3 ipods shown in
Nautilus and when either Banshee or rhythnbox is started my Ipod is
shown as a network drive and the media player crashes.
I hope a fix can be sorted.

Banshee only shows the IPOD but crashes. so does rhythmbox. In 12 10 I
could sync this Ipod easily and it showed up as trev's ipod.

To reproduce in 12.04. Open a PDF to run Evince. Go to an arbitrary page
with some content displayed. Select a zoom level so that something is
displayed.
Hit CTRL+N. A new window shows but has blank display. The workaround for
now is to adjust zoom. Then PDF page is displayed

Paul, I am using Evolution 2.28.3.
I am receiving my mail from a remote ISP via POP, and mail arrives on my
local drive - there is no local server involved. The Preferences window
does not provide any tab for incoming mail - it just shows my one POP
account.

I agree with Knut. If the concept of Move to Another Folder is so hard
to grasp that you think it is okay to allow a valuable email to be
trashed instead (and possibly deleted forever with stuff you deem to be
trash), then it seems you are impossible to convince.

I had enormous problems trying to install Adobe flash plugin on Jaunty, and
gave up in the end. Even after learning how to unblock synaptic and try again,
it just wouldn't download even if I used the terminal.
The same thing is happening in 9.10

Sound juicer prepares to copy audio CD by creating image. So far, so good.
But when it starts to write to blank CD, it immediately fails with error dialog
"error writing to disk". It allows retry, but will fail again.

On Intrepid I also experience Nautilus "not responding", with one CPU
(2.4GHz Quad) at 100% for several minutes.
I suspect it is enumerating and caching every item in every subfolder,
because the time varies. E.g. /usr takes a looong time, while Documents
doesn't.

back.

I have done more testing and concluded these things:
1. This affects ALL USB microphones
2.The error is caused by having no default mixer for the device (pulled from an
old version of wine)
I do not know how to fix this. Any help would be appreciated. This
microphone also doesn't work with win
I updated the nvidia driver, but this didn't fix it. I am looking for
a config file, but so far, havn't found one. Thanks for the suggestion,
though. I didn't know about Envy, it's brilliant.

selecting the Kubuntu Human icon set, all the Gnome panels disappeared.
I clicked back on the Tangerine set, and on clicking close, the crash
