In order to reproduce this you should to try to open some files with long
names. For example, I opened files via smb with non-latin characters in name
(these names became percent-encoded in 'Fi

There are no items in 'File' menu after opening a file or a number of files
with large name or path. It is better to implement crop of names in this menu;
something like 'A very large file_na...'.
