Public bug reported:
[Dell Inspiron One 2305]: Internal MIC is not recognized.
Alsamixer shows internal mic, and sound level can be augmented. However
there is no internal audio hardware found in sound settings in order to
test microphone.
I was able to use sound recorder without a problem. This issue is only
seen in gnome-control-center sound.
