line 255 in gtkiconcache.c is :
guint32 name_offset = GET_UINT32 (cache->buffer, chain_offset + 4);
it looks like cache->buffer is NULL here.

Having installed the evolution-dbg and libgtk-3.0-dbg packages, I'm getting
