Bug 1030357 is about a related upstream issue, in the same source file.
I've collected upstream's recent fixes to cairo-cff-subset.c, including
the one linked above, into one patch. It's attached to bug 1030357, and
queued for review. When it goes through, this bug will be fixed, too.

On gnome bugtracker this was identified as a cairo problem(regression
from 1.10 to 1.12.0 and following). The fix is in
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/cairo/commit/?id=5dd0f2eb951f8fb1d50802c99c660de1de486154
as gnome bugtracker report
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52972
show.
**
It is to expect that incorparating the change of libcairo should fix the
problem with evince.
May be incorporating the next cairo release(update) should be enough.

Title:
evince print
I could reproduce this with the attached example document. (Only
through print preview; I don't have a printer hooked up.) I tried that
pdf in Okular, and it did not show this problem.
I tried Evince's print preview on several other PDFs, and couldn't find
another example of this corruption.
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Yes, I also have used okular as workarround. With this printing works.
