Time for the semi-annual Bump.
Just checked Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and Linux Mint 17, the brasero version is now
3.10.0-0ubuntu1 .
Unfortunately the bug Still has Not been Fixed.
Perhaps there is an Ubuntu Maintainer that can update an upstream (GNOME
Bugzilla) ticket from Unconfirmed (sheesh).

This report has been open over a year and Still has not had Ubuntu
maintainer involvement to escalate the issue on one of the DEFAULT apps
in Ubuntu and Gnome.
