I confirm the bug is still happening on Karmic, that should get fixed once LTSP finally supports dbus or will require a nautilus patch to change that behavior (so the eject button doesn't appear when the user isn't allowed to eject/unmount the device). ** Changed in: ltspfs (Ubuntu)

http://people.canonical.com/~ogra/95_suppress_umount_in_ltsp.patch is an old patch i once added to nautilus to suppress the umount option on LTSP desktops, surely nautilus has changed a lot since but the patch might serve as a base for a new one. -- nautilus file menu still has unmount volume
