what didn't work to get the backtrace? did you try to attach gdb to it?

Hello
i tried to obtain a backtrace but i was totally unable to, however, nautilus
crashed only 3 times more..
i started to think something odd happened to my ubuntu install, because even
alacarte isn't working 100% good..
now, i know what to do, when nautilus crashes i issue:
killall adesklets
