Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
I am using thunderbird a lot. It has a nice feature that helps to keep your disk clean: Select a time after which messages will be deleted in folder properties. Could such a option be incorporated in the Nautilus folder properties? A possible use case: You buy a travel ticket online and save it. After you came back from the journey all related files will still linger around an occupy disk space. At the time you create the folder you know exactly that you won't need the files after the jouney and can therefore urge nautilus to delete them or even the folder itself. Just like the proteced folders get a padlock symbol these folders could be attached with a clock symbol. Just a idea... ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed ** Tags: feature-request improvement usability wishlist ** Tags added: feature-request improvement usability wishlist -- automatically delete files from certain folders https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/119682 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
