Public bug reported:
When adding a new entry to the application menu via alacarte, it's
specified icon is processed incorrectly. Namely, it's extension is
ommited. For example, if the icon's name is "foo.png", then the program
creates a desctop entry with Icon set to "foo" instead of "foo.png".
