Zenity 3.8 version is also in 14.04 , and so in all Linux Mint 17.x , and all
Elementary O.S.
( Long term support, till 2019 afaik ) ; That's why I post here

This is already fixed in the git master.
By the way, zenity is already in version 3.14.
