Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04?

Er I know.
I defined the shortcuts myself using the keyboard shortcuts applet, but
while it let me define them, metacity doesn't like/use them (compiz does
for some reason though)

Using Feisty, also occurs with Gutsy
It does do the same for a user that hasn't run compiz, the keyboard
shortcuts capplet allows inputting the shortcut but the shortcut doesn't
work in metacity, only in compiz

the same using a stock user without running compiz?
