Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xchat-gnome
In the main chat window, urls are noticed so you an right click and open in a browser, however urls with ( or ) in get parsed incorrecty, for instance (actually quite common with wikipedia urls): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screwdriver_(cocktail) gets parsed to be: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screwdriver_ My assumption would be there are other characters that the same thing happens with, but im not savvy enough on the url rfc to know what should and shouldnt be valid.
