Samsung Note II does not mount as drives after upgr
Hmmm, I'm a linux newbie trying to come up to speed. Hope I'm not
overdoing it with details. I opened a terminal window and ran the blkid
command. I have 3 hardrives in my machine, no optical disk, blkid is
clearly showing 4 devices. Here is the readout from the blkid:
/dev/sda1: LABEL="Blk Ca
Some further notes: the card that I plugged into to the card reader was
the one from my canon camera. When I tried to plud other cards no of
them were read, only canon formatted card was readable. Finally I
turned off my Samsung Note II and removed the card from it and plugged
it into the card r
I have the same problem with Ubuntu 14.04. My canon camera still
connects, and a memory card reader still connects. Out of curiosity, I
turned on an old computer with Ubuntu 12.04 and connected the Samsung
Note II and it was detected right away.

Note: The Samsung Note II does load as two drives on a windows laptop.
It does not work with my Ubuntu desktop.
