No, Endolith, you're not right. This has to be implemented in Nautilus
like .desktop files. So you can use icons and edit the aim.

.lnk files would be launched by another script, anyway, right? So this
bug has nothing to do with Nautilus.

I don't an .url file is a related issue. This bug is about .lnk files
created by windows to point to another location. A URL file could just
be registered with a suitable MIME type and associated with a browser. I
don't think this is the same type of issue.
