Public bug reported: On gutsy, with gedit 2.19.91, search for things like "\nli" works, i.e. find the expected "li" after a new line.
Then things go wrong. When opening the search dialog a second time, the search string has been replaced with "\\nli", escaping the backslashes in the search string. So searching for "\n\n" works and then become "\\n\\n". ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- search adds slash to escaped strings https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/137203 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gedit in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
