Did you check which of the random algorithms it was using? It should be using
shuffle. Check the gconf key:
/apps/rhythmbox/state/play_order
it should be shuffle. If it is random, then it will play randomly without
replacement (i.e. it might play the track more than

That bug is not the same. That bug is about shuffling multiple albums
while playing each album in order. This bug is about playing the
entirety of a single album in a random order, without missing any songs.
