Just had this bug running Evolution 2.24.0 in Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid)
Beta, Linux Kernel 2.6.27-7-generic, and GNOME 2.24.0.
No idea what caused it. I left the PC for a few hours and when I
returned Evolution had crashed.

Copying publish-calendar.glade from /usr/share/evolution/2.12/glade -
/usr/lib/evolution/2.12/plugins fixed it for me. Thanks Isaac.
It fixed the problem on two machines for me two.

- preferences - calendar publishing and click on Add

I had the same problem described. This fixed it.
Copy publish-calendar.glade from /usr/share/evolution/2.12/glade -
/usr/lib/evolution/2.12/plugins
publish-calendar.glade is in /usr/share/evolution/2.12/glade, not the
expected /lib/evolution/2.12/plugins. It appears as if [1] broke this.
