Baobab is part of gnome-utils, changing sourcepackage.
I followed your steps exactly on Jaunty and cannot reproduce the problem
either. Does the problem still occur on the latest Ubuntu release?

Sourcepackagename: baobab = gnome-utils
In any case, Baobab launches nautilus on that folder so (if it is a bug)
it should be related to nautilus.
