After unstalling bug-buddy I have experienced same problem. I use latest
beta gutsy x86_64 (eclipse 3.3)

that's weird because bug-buddy is not enable on Ubuntu we use apport,
did you set the /apps/bug-buddy/run_on_crash key to true on your
installation?

No, It's not set to true.
Anyway, I've not widely tested wheter that was the source of my crashes or not.
Just uninstalled bug-buddy 1 day ago according to that workaround in the bug
repport and had no more crashes. I'll keep you posted if a new crash occurs, so
it wouldn't be bug-buddy's

We didn't update bug-buddy to 2.20.0 because the new version is buggy

Hi.
I had to uninstall it today because I need eclipse for my project and it's the
only workaround that works.
Till today I was using up-to-dated gutsy version (2.18.1-2ubuntu1).
As I read, java vm is hiding its bugs by catching their own segfaults. Bug
buddy also catches them and thus make
